In October 2025, Noah Coughlan will embark on his 5th Run across America, a historic 5,500-mile solo journey across 20 states over 260 days, culminating on July 4th, 2026 to celebrate the United States’ 250th Semiquincentennial anniversary.
This final transcontinental run will make Noah only the third person ever to cross all 50 states on foot.
Noah will engage big cities and small towns honoring everyday Americans and veterans, encouraging unity while highlighting the enduring spirit of our Nation through media and storytelling for a renewed appreciation for America’s shared history.

2026 run for america
Starting on October 18th, 2025, Noah will run 950 miles
across KANSAS, SOUTH CAROLINA, and NORTH CAROLINA.
Noah will then run 3,600 miles from the Atlantic Ocean
at Maine ending at Pacific Ocean in Oregon:
MAINE, NEW HAMPSHIRE, VERMONT, NEW YORK, PENNSYLVANIA,
OHIO, MICHIGAN, INDIANA, ILLINOIS, WISCONSIN, MINNESOTA,
NORTH DAKOTA, MONTANA, IDAHO, OREGON.
After completing his fifth Ocean to Ocean run across America,
Coughlan will cross 900 miles across ALASKA
from Prudhoe Bay to Anchorage.
-Finally, Noah will cross HAWAII, ending on America's 250th Anniversary, July 4, 2026,
becoming only the 3rd person ever to cross all 50 States on foot.
RUN FOR AMERICA will be Noah's last run across America.
Coughlan has previously crossed 36 of 50 U.S. States with 14 states remaining.
RUN FOR AMERICA is the 5th solo Run across America by Noah Coughlan following his previous runs in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2023, and a run across Ireland in 2020.
